Aleksandra Gruevska

Aleksandra Gruevska graduated at the Faculty of Law “Iustinianus Primus” in Skopje on 26 of February 2001 as a best student in generation honoured with the gold statue of “Ciceron”, and also best student at The University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje.

For the academic 2003/2004 Aleksandra Gruevska was awarded prestigious and very competative joined scholarship to undertake the graduate studies at the University of Cambridge, Law Faculty, Institute of Criminology. Ms. Gruevska was awarded a MPhil degree at the University of Cambridge on 17 July 2004.

Aleksandra Gruevska is full-time employed at the Faculty of Law “Iustinianus Primus” in Skopje since February 2006 as an assistant, courses Criminology, Penology and Criminal Law.

At the moment, she is working on her PhD on topic “The effects of imprisonment on recidivism”, at the Faculty of Law “Iustinianus Primus” in Skopje.

Aleksandra Gruevska participated in many conferences in the country and abroad. She has published several publications in the country and abroad on the topic of Criminal Law and Criminology.

She is a member of the Association for Criminal Law and Criminology of Macedonia, first president in Lions New Century Macedonia Club; also, a member of Cambridge Overseas Society.
