The Balkan Case Challenge (BCC) was an annual international case study competition and recruitment event with a focus on South-Eastern Europe. It aimed at opening up opportunities and new perspectives for excellent students from South-Eastern Europe through strengthening links between higher education and employment and by the provision of concrete job opportunities.
ISIE was partner of World University Service – Austria (2008-2010) in the implementation of project activities in Macedonia. A total of 163 students attended these events in the period 2008-2010. Besides that, over 40 trainers, career consultants, university professors and teaching assistants took part in the activities related to the competition.
Within this project, ISIE has delivered the following services:
– Organization of training sessions for professional skills and career coaching of university graduates;
– Organization of 4 case study student competitions each year in the following fields (Business and IT plan competition, Law Moot Court and Model European Council);
– Organization of opening and closing ceremony at government institutions;
– Organization of accommodation, transport and visa procedure for selected participants for the finals in Vienna.
The opening ceremony of the competition on 2008 and 2009 was hosted by the Government of Macedonia and in 2010 – by the Parliament of Macedonia.
