It is a very busy period at ISIE this autumn. A number of initiatives have been finalized and several new projects have just started.
At the beginning of the autumn, our team has released the Guide for addressing risk of delinquency among students (Macedonian |Albanian).
We organized the presentation of the public procurement monitoring results of the municipalities in Polog planning region (2017 – 2018) on October 30, 2019 in Tetovo. This event has been widely covered by the media. To find out more about the project please visit this link.
Also, during the autumn we have started two new projects. “Boosting citizens’ activism to monitor and report unlawful conduct of local administration” is a 12-months project for promotion of tools for citizens’ control of the work of local institutions and strengthening capacities of the local NGOs and citizen activists to implement laws. This project is funded by the US embassy in Skopje.
Our second new project will support civil society organizations and media to monitor public enterprises in the Polog Planning region. The project is funded by the European Union and will be implemented in the period 2019 – 2020.
